Craig Van Dijk & Daniel Singer formed Novelty in 2016 as a way to share their passion for upbeat music. The duo pushes a unique sound which ebbs and flows between House and Techno. Co-founding Xylem - hosted at the infamous Modular Cape Town - has allowed them to grow and develop the direction for their sound.

Their journey so far has seen them play at festivals and club nights such as Smalltown Beat, Future Frequency Festival, Intercell, Just Between Us, Kunda Valley, MUUD, and VAULT. The duo has been gradually sharing more of their productions, having released music on Akronym, Rave Your Soul, Deadline Records, and the Cape Town based City Bowl Wax Network.
